I booked this accommodation after carefully evaluating various options in Barcelona. The apartment looked very decent and clean in the photos on Boooking.com, so I paid in advance for 7 days for two adults and one child. We were given accommodation in the first high-rise building 1-3, where we arrived in the evening when we flew into Barcelona. The main entrance door to the building could not be opened through the app. It was originally supposed to be on the 8th floor. So I studied the instructions on the building opening page and learned that we were to be accommodated in the third building. I was already upset, but I got over it and moved to the third building. Here we managed to open the entrance door to the building, in the instructions we learned that we would be accommodated on the 15th floor. We even managed to open the door to apartment 15B on the 15th floor. Since I have been working as a general nurse for 20 years and my partner is a doctor, I can tolerate very precise cleanliness. In this regard, I was immediately struck by the heavily dusty shelves upon entering the apartment. I wanted to leave it unanswered, because it can happen and my demands are really demanding. But after a closer inspection of the entire apartment, we discovered that there was hair everywhere from previous guests. When my friend sat on the sofa in the living room after a long trip through Europe, a large cloud of dust rose. This prompted me to check the cleanliness of the apartment. After spreading out the sofa in the living room, we couldn't help but be amazed. The sheet was dirty and the mattress underneath was really disgustingly dirty. We saw large circles of urine and the entire mattress turning gray. Under the sofa, there was garbage from previous people and clumps of dust. A used handkerchief, coins, and really large deposits of dirt. Not just ordinary dust, but real long-term dirt. I immediately called the contact number, where an Indian answered, who repeated to me at least ten times that he had sent the matter to the office and that it would be resolved in the morning. To this I replied that a solution in the morning was not enough for me and that I wanted a replacement clean accommodation immediately, because I would not let my child sleep in this dirty accommodation even for one night. We could not reach an agreement and he kept repeating one memorized sentence over and over. I was forced to quickly book accommodation in the clean Gran Derby Suite hotel approx. 6 kilometers away. That evening I received a message from the Fira Gran Via accommodation that the cleaning service had come to the accommodation and that we were not there, what had happened. Decent people, especially doctors and health workers like us, cannot stay in such a dirty place even for one night for fear of contracting scabies or something similar. For forensic reasons, we visited the accommodation 3 days later, on June 30, 2026, to see how the accommodation had been cleaned. In fact, it had hardly been cleaned at all. The dust on the shelves was only wiped off and maybe the bedsheet on the sofa in the living room was changed, but otherwise there was a lot of dirt, garbage under the sofa and hair from previous visitors remained on the dining table. Out of the total price paid of 1433.03 euros, I received a notification today about the refund of 421.80 euros to some Booking.com Wallet, which is absolutely insufficient for me and if I am not refunded at least 75% of the total price paid of 1433.03 euros, I am ready to file a civil lawsuit against the promoters of this accommodation, because we did not use the accommodation and I feel literally robbed. We were not provided with the services referred to, even after additional cleaning, and no other decent person who is going to Barcelona for a vacation deserves the stress caused by the operators of the Fira Gran Via - Barcelona4Seasons accommodation.
